Accompaniement-Transportation


The accompaniment-transportation service is a service that allows the volunteer to accompany the beneficiary to health services such as: the hospital, the pharmacy, the doctor's office or the CLSC.

The volunteer is available, attentive and reassuring, he is really there as an accompanist of the person who receives this service.

 

People served:

  • Person aged 65 and over.
  • An income security recipient authorized by the CLE.

Volunteer accompaniment-transportation is a service provided to people who cannot get help from a loved one at the time of application or who cannot use other means of transportation because they are experiencing a loss of autonomy.

 

A fee is required for each accompaniment, depending on the distance travelled.
